If you want to take your business to the next level, you must first take a look at how healthy and happy your romantic relationship is, claims Stacey Martino, the internationally renowned Love & Passion Coach.
With small and micro businesses accounting for 99.9% of all private sector businesses in the UK and contributing to nearly 50% of private sector turnover (1) and with 45% of marriages ending in divorce (2), it is clear that a large proportion of those running these businesses are likely to be facing problems in their relationship which could be hampering their business success.
According to Martino, who runs a highly acclaimed online relationship transformation programme through global coaching platform JigsawBox.com, it is impossible for a business owner or entrepreneur to optimise the potential of their business if their intimate relationship is not where they want it to be.
She is urging anyone who is in a relationship and running a business to take some time to explore if their relationship with their partner could be improved to enable them to grow and thrive as a partnership, which in turn will create a fertile ground to take the business to the next level.
“Entrepreneurs and coaches tell me all the time that they want their partner’s support in their business. Years of experience has proven to me that no human being is ever going to give 100% support to something that they are also competing with for your love and attention.” explains Stacey.
“If your partner is competing with your business for your attention, time and priority, then they will never support you the way you really want to be supported in your business! But the opposite is also true. When your partner feels that they are your number one, they will go beyond supporting you, they will push you to take it to the next level! Then, your business will truly have no limits! So, ironically, if you love the work you do in the world, be sure to put your partner before it, so you can really experience the best of it!”
According to Stacey, “Only when your intimate relationship is everything you want it to be and more, can you really enjoy the height of sweetness from the success of your business and withstand all the challenges it will bring you too!”
