Assistant Director, Universities Wales
Kieron Rees joined Universities Wales in March 2017 and is the Head of Policy and External Affairs. In this role Kieron oversees the organisation’s policy work in research, innovation, skills and education. Prior to joining, Kieron led the External Affairs team at Carers Trust Wales and had overall responsibility for the organisation’s policy, public affairs and campaigns work.
In addition to these roles, Kieron has previously served on the governing body of a further education college in Wales and as Chair of Public Affairs Cymru.
