Ian has worked for the DofE for 20 years where has enjoyed some great roles including operational positions to further develop the DofE programme across the majority of Local Authorities in Wales.

He has also been responsible for being the main lead on training DofE Leaders including expedition assessor and supervisor courses. His focus now is building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders that include Companies, Trusts and Foundations and people who support the DofE Charity, all who help try and make young people in Wales the best they can be.

He has a wide range of interests, from Male Voice Choirs to Motorbikes, golf, rugby and skiing.
