Encompassing an awards programme, a forum and a series of webinar sessions, the Great British Businesswoman Series’ mission is to provide a platform to recognise, celebrate and support women in business, champion their peers and advocates, and help foster the next generation of female business leaders.
The Great British Businesswoman Awards
The Great British Businesswoman Awards brings together and celebrates the women who are changing the face of business across the United Kingdom.
The awards showcase the business role models, advocates and mentors, as well as the inspirational women leading businesses and those ascending to new heights! More than just an awards ceremony, the Great British Businesswoman Awards is a year round programme of engagement, delivering touch points throughout the year to support and champion.
The awards focus on community and collaboration by bringing together those who make it their business to inspire female business leaders and are looking to support, celebrate and mentor the next generation via our winners, judging panel and supporters.
The awards are free to enter, and you can enter as many categories as you’d like!
The Great British Businesswoman Forum
The Great British Businesswoman Forum shines a light on women in business, whether you are a HR professional looking to attract and retain talented women, a seasoned leader looking to address current challenges in your organisation, or a younger female looking to ascend and take the next step in your career.
The Global Gender Gap Report 2020 shows that none of us will see gender parity in our lifetimes, and nor likely will many of our children. Worryingly, these findings suggest that gender parity will not be achieved for 99.5 years. That’s why it is now more important than ever to address the gender imbalance and help support female identifying individuals in business.
HR plays a vital role in supporting and assisting women to achieve parity within the workplace, and the Great British Businesswoman Forum will enable HR professionals and other key stakeholders to come together for a day of learning, support and collaboration; hearing from expert speakers in HR, diversity, equity and inclusion and those who have successfully navigated their way to the top, offering their advice on developing diversity strategies, supporting women, attracting and retaining top talent and taking female employee concerns seriously.
The 2021 Forum consisted of three core themes: female leaders, HR’s role in business and career development. You can catch up on demand here.
