MAY 2020, UK – With a surge in demand for the National Domestic Abuse Helpline during lockdown. mindfulness lifestyle brand Scentered® have partnered with Refuge, who run this Helpline and are a charity providing confidential, specialist, support to women and children experiencing domestic abuse, to raise awareness of this crisis and offer a donation through sales of their 100% natural Aromatherapy SLEEP WELL set.
In 1971, Refuge created the world’s first safe house for women & children and the charity has now become the country’s largest single provider of specialist domestic abuse services. Refuge support over 6,500 women and children on any given day but since Covid- 19 they have received an average 50% increase in demand for the National Domestic Abuse Helpline, which refuge runs. Refuge need funds and we think we can support them.
