The Great British Entrepreneur Awards is delighted to announce that it has extended its partnership with MINI for the 2018 awards programme.

MINI returns for a fifth year as a premium partner to help recognise the hard work and inspiring stories of British entrepreneurs. As part of its support, MINI will supply the winner of the ‘Creative Industries’ category in each of the five regions with their own vehicle for two months.

Since its launch, the Great British Entrepreneur Awards has celebrated some of the UK’s brightest entrepreneurs. Previous winners include: James Watt of BrewDog, Julie Deane OBE of The Cambridge Satchel Company, Shaun Pulfrey of Tangle Teezer, and Sophie & Hannah Pycroft of Spectrum Collections.

Founder of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, Francesca James said: “We're delighted to be working with MINI again in 2018. MINI has a wonderful Great British brand heritage and they've worked with us to support Great British entrepreneurs since year one.

“As part of our partnership, MINI gift a fully branded car to a regional winner for 3 months. This is a great opportunity for our entrepreneurs to feature their company branding on a fun, iconic car and use it to generate exposure for their brand.”

Ian Waspe, Corporate Development Manager at MINI, said: “MINI are extremely proud to be continuing their partnership with the Great British Entrepreneur Awards for the fifth year running and sponsoring the Creative Industries Entrepreneur of the Year Award category.

“MINI are very passionate about supporting growing UK businesses and entrepreneurship. In 2018, each winner from the regional finals will be awarded a personalised MINI for three months to support their business.”

Following a hugely successful 2017 awards programme, applications for the 2018 awards are now open for entries. National finals will be held in Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Manchester, and London, and will celebrate entrepreneurship across 12 categories including Start-Up, Creative Industries, Innovation and Young.
