The Great British Entrepreneur Awards has announced Companies House as its new national partner for the 2019 programme and the Young Entrepreneur of the Year category.
Companies House is the government body responsible for incorporating and dissolving limited companies in the UK. Its holds data for more than four million limited companies on its register and makes it available to the public.
As part of the government’s wider Industrial Strategy, Companies House is committed to playing its part in ensuring Britain remains the best place to start and grow a business. In August 2019, it will launch its #GetBizzy campaign which aims to promote the tools and resources available on its website to young entrepreneurs aged 16-24, so that they can grow their businesses.
2019 is the seventh year of the Awards championing incredible entrepreneurial stories, and in that time, it has celebrated some household names including Julie Deane OBE of The Cambridge Satchel Company, James Watt of BrewDog, Shaun Pulfrey of Tangle Teezer and Alan & Juliet Barratt of Grenade.
