The Food & Drink Heroes awards programme that champions the UK’s food and drink entrepreneurs, is delighted to announce Russell-Cooke as a partner for 2022.
Now in its second year, Food & Drink Heroes celebrates the entrepreneurial stories of the founders behind the UK’s brightest food and drink businesses. Challenger brands make up to 96% of the UK’s total food and drinks businesses. These companies contribute a highly significant £18 billion to the UK economy.
Russell-Cooke is a top 100 London-based law firm with 200 solicitors and lawyers; advising commercial, not-for-profit, regulatory and personal clients.
A number of its team are regarded as leaders in their fields, winning peer-group accolades in areas as diverse as real estate, regulation, crime and children law. The breadth of expertise means it can tackle complex multi-dimensional cases that are beyond the scope of narrowly-based firms of solicitors. The firm advises startups from seed funding to buyouts, as well as SMEs and beyond.
Founder of Food & Drink Heroes, Francesca James, said:
“I’m very pleased to be working together with Russell-Cooke for this year’s Food & Drink Heroes programme. Russell-Cooke has a strong passion for supporting entrepreneurs, particularly challenger brands such as those in the food and drink space, and I’m excited to work towards a shared goal of celebrating the UK’s brightest food and drink entrepreneurs.”
Jonathan Thornton, partner at Russell-Cooke, said:
“We are delighted to support this year’s Food & Drink Heroes programme. This is a sector that has been severely challenged during the pandemic, but equally has bounced back with innovative and exciting new offerings across all possible platforms. The increasing rise of alternative food sources pushing the boundaries too means this will be a truly exciting set of awards entries this year. We look forward to judging them!”
Food & Drink Heroes will crown winners in 16 categories, including Confectionary Entrepreneur of the Year, Sustainability Entrepreneur, Hospitality Entrepreneur of the Year and Small Business Supporter of the Year.
The awards are free to enter and open to any business registered in the UK that operates in the food and drink industries. Entries close 14th January 2022. For more information and to start your entry head to the website.
