A Swansea multimedia agency is opening an office in Silicon Valley after just one year in business.
Capitalising on the growing need for content localisation, VoiceBox’s multilingual services have attracted a diverse client base that ranges from eLearning providers and branding agencies to entertainment behemoths such as Discovery and Sony Pictures.
However, it’s the booming global app market that has enticed the South Wales outfit to the world’s technological capital - Silicon Valley.
“We’re increasingly working with app developers in California to localise their apps for different territories so it’s a natural step for us to have a physical presence in the US.” said Anna Bastek, CEO of VoiceBox.
Bastek, a Polish native and celebrated entrepreneur, is intent on maximising the potential of the billion dollar app industry’s localisation challenges: “We’ve always believed that language isn’t a barrier but an opportunity to reach new audiences. With VoiceBox, developers are able to successfully translate the content of their apps to seamlessly launch in different territories.”
