British small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) are predicting growth in 2015, but 42% aren't equipped to achieve it, according to a new report by mobile network provider, EE.
EE said that 69% of the 1,000 SME owners predicted double-digit growth in 2015, with an average growth projection of 26%.
But 42% said they would be unable to achieve this growth if they are unable to scale and resolve key issues like office space, a lack of suitable techology, and finding employees with the necessary skills.
Mike Tomlinson, Director of Small Business at EE, says: “Our research shows Britain’s small businesses are expecting growth in the next year, but many worry they don’t have the resources to scale to meet that change."
