Rupert Murdoch was seemingly attacked by a member of the public gallery as the hearing with the Culture Committee drew to a close.
The hearing had moved on to the last MP to ask questions when commotion broke out in the room.
Reports suggest that Rupert Murdoch was hit in the face with a plate of shaving foam, with police taking a man out of the room moments later.
The hearing had been meandering to a close when suddenly a ma, armed with a plate of what appeared to be shaving foam, attacked Rupert Murdoch shouting 'greedy' as he did so.
His son, James, wore a look of total shock, whilst his wife leapt to his defence seconds after the attack took place.
