Baroness Karren Brady has stepped down as non-executive chairman of the holding company for Sir Philip Green's retail business.
Taveta, which owns the Arcadia Group, said Baroness Brady had been joined by non-executive director Sharon Brown in resigning her post.
It comes as Sir Philip Green faces a series of allegations of sexual harassments and racial abuse, which he strongly denies. There are no allegations relating to Karren Brady or Sharon Brown.
As a champion of women in business, Brady had received plenty of criticism for remaining at the helm of Green's company, where she had been chairman since 2017.
