Maggie Berry, founder and Managing Director of womenintechnology.co.uk, has been named as one of Management Today’s ‘35 women under 35’, a list which features the nation’s top high-flying young businesswomen.

The list is in its tenth year, and has featured such names as Martha Lane Fox, Rebekah Wade and Stella McCartney over this time. Maggie has been included for her role in founding and running womenintechnology.co.uk, which in five years has grown from nothing to a network of over 6000 people. The site organises regular networking and training events, with the overall aim of getting more women into IT and helping women to progress their careers, and Maggie has fast become one of the leading ambassadors for women in IT in the UK. She also sits on the British Computer Society's strategic panel for women as well as the BCSWomen committee and is part of Intellect's Women in IT Forum.

“It’s a great honour to be included in the 35 under 35 list alongside so many inspirational women,” comments Maggie, “especially as this was my last year of being eligible! I’ve worked hard over the last five years to develop womenintechnology into an organisation that can help as many women as possible and really make a difference; and long may that continue. It means a lot that all this effort is recognised.”
