Women inventors whose ideas have transformed lives and society are being invited to enter the 5th Bi-Annual International European Women Inventors and Innovators Awards in London on 13 and 14 October 2015.

With reports recently bemoaning a general lack of women inventors and the absence of female nominees to the European Inventor Awards over the past two years, the two-day event will provide evidence that female innovation in Europe is alive and kicking.

Organised by the Global Women Inventors & Innovators Network (GWIIN), the event will provide a unique opportunity for women from across Europe to showcase their groundbreaking new ideas, innovations, inventions and research.

With the theme: Intellectual Property, Digital Technology and Open Innovation, the awards are a key diary date for women with an interest in creating solutions to challenges in everyday life.

The awards will be held at The British Library on October 14th as part of a two day exhibition and conference exploring the place of copyright and intellectual property on women’s enterprise.
