FedEx Express has teamed-up with the Great British Entrepreneur Awards as a sponsor for a third year in 2016.

Hailed as the benchmark for entrepreneurial success in Great Britain, the Great British Entrepreneur Awards enters its fourth year in 2016. Previous winners include Julie Deane OBE, the founder of the Cambridge Satchel Co, who recently wrote a report on self-employment for the government, and co-founder of craft beer giant, BrewDog.

One of the largest courier companies in the world, FedEx helps businesses to realise their potential by exploring international opportunities and ensuring logistics efficiency throughout their supply chain.

FedEx provides a range of delivery and logistics services to companies across all sectors, offering tailored solutions to meet specific needs and helping businesses go global.

Nick James, co-founder of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, said: "We are thrilled to have the continued support of FedEx in celebrating the stories behind the UK's brightest up-and-coming entrepreneurs. Exploring international markets is a crucial step towards business growth, and so it's incredibly comforting to have a world leader in international deliveries and logistics on board."

David Poole, a Great British Entrepreneur Awards judge and managing director of sales, UK South at FedEx Express, said: "The UK possesses a wealth of entrepreneurial talent, with small and medium sized businesses making vital contributions to our economy. This is why we are proud to be supporting the GBEA awards once again. As we have seen with the award’s past winners, with the right support, access to finance and services, Britain’s entrepreneurs can seize opportunities and achieve success at home and abroad. FedEx Express is keen to support them, however we can, every step of the way.”
