Facebook has said its profits more-than-doubled to $1.56 billion (£1.09bn) in the final quarter of 2015.
Mark Zuckerberg said 2015 was a "great year for Facebook", with nearly 1.6 billion people actively using Facebook by the end of 2015, 1.44 million of which used to social network on mobile devices.
Profits for the whole year grew from $800 million to $3.7bn, as revenues jumped 44% to $17.9bn. Facebook said 80% of its advertising revenues now comes from mobile, up from 69% in the same period last year.
The latest results mean that Facebook has now beaten analysts' expectations for the past 10 quarters.
