English football's FA Cup has secured a three year sponsorship deal with American beer giants Budweiser.
Whilst the amount of money for the sponsorship has not been disclosed Budweiser become the first US firm to sponsor the FA Cup.
It is not the first football sponsorship Budweiser has engaged in, having been long-term sponsors of the football World Cup for the last 25 years, as well as having sponsorship with various US motor sports.
Budweiser replace energy firm E.On, who sponsored the tournament for the last five years, meaning it will now be known as the 'FA Cup with Budweiser'.
"We are extremely pleased to have secured an iconic brand such as Budweiser to be the lead partner of the FA Cup," said FA General Secretary Alex Horne.
The move means both of English football's cup tournaments are sponsored by beer firms, with Carling sponsoring the League Cup.
