Inflation in the eurozone fell slightly from 0.3% to 0.2% in June, according to official figures.

Eurostat, the eurozone's official statistics agency, said it marks the second month of inflation after five straight months of flat or falling prices.

It gives another indication that the European Central Bank (ECB)'s plan to inject €1 trillion into the eurozone economy to boost growth and prices is working.

Other figures show that unemployment in the eurozone as a whole stayed at 11.1% in May, unchanged from April.

Germany still holds the lowest unemployment rate at just 4.7% which crisis hit Greece is over 25%.
