The UK economy grew by 0.2% in the three months to January, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
It matched grow for the previous three month period, but growth during January picked up to 0.5%.
The ONS said IT, health services and wholesale performed particularly well, and offset struggles in manufacturing and construction.
Following a study in February, wholesale figures further suggest that factories are stockpiling raw materials in preparation for Brexit. But the ONS said it was unable to comment on it specifically.
The services sector, which accounts for roughly 80% of the UK economy, grew 0.3% in January after recording a fall of 0.2% in December.
