Less than 24 hours after launching the new iPhone 4S Apple are facing a legal row that could prevent them from selling their latest iPhone in France and Italy.
In what is becoming a tiring tit-for-tat exchange between Apple and Samsung the latest chapter has seen Samsung claim they invented the 3G technology used on the iPhone 4S.
Samsung are claiming that Apple has used 3G wireless technology, which Samsung invented, without paying for it.
A patent war between the companies has been rumbling on for months in courts around the world.
"Apple has continued to flagrantly violate our intellectual property rights and free ride on our technology, and we will steadfastly protect our intellectual property," a Samsung statement said.
