Apple boss Tim Cook has said he will donate the majority of his fortune to charity before he dies.

As chief executive of the world's most valuable company, Mr Cook is worth an estimated $800m (£537m). And he told Fortune Magazine that he will donate the vast majority of his fortune to philanthropic causes, only pledging to pay for his 10-year old nephew's college education.

He is the latest super-rich business leader to commit to donating at least half of his wealth. In 2010, billionaire investor Warren Buffett and Microsoft founder Bill Gates set up The Giving Pledge.

So far, more than 100 billionaires have signed up to the "moral commitment", including Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.
