A planned two-day strike by ground handling staff at Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester airports for the run-up to Christmas has been suspended.
Members of the Unite union working for the firm dnata were due to walk out on Tuesday. But they will now be balloted following a new pay offer.
Unite's Kevin Hall said the pay offer "better reflects the contribution" the workers make to the airports.
He added: "We will now be putting the details of the revised pay offer to our members over the coming weeks."
