Origins
When both directors were made redundant when previous employers closed down, they agreed that due to the massive wealth of experience and excellent reputations they had within the social housing sector, they would put their skills to use in going it alone. They were very fortunate that all of clients were willing to put their trust and faith in the founders and support the new business moving forward. As such, the clients they had worked for under their previous employers became the first new clients for the company.
Success Factor
Both directors feel that the key factors in the firm’s growth and success have been honesty and openness with clients and the willingness to go the extra mile for all customers. Also by having fantastic staff who share their core values and only undertaking work where the business is 100% confident in being able to deliver complete satisfaction to clients.
The Future
Warmplan has recently been expanding its services to include Solar PV installations and this market has a massive growth potential and, to date, it has delivered over 1000 PV systems to domestic properties. Due to the current energy situation and the Government’s backing for renewable technologies, this area of the business will grow very quickly and the business is currently discussing Solar PV installations with its social housing client base.
