Roisin is a biochemist with over 25 years’ experience in product research & development, sales and marketing of medical products into international hospital markets. Roisin is committed to improving lives through innovative medical technology solutions.

TriMedika is an innovative medical technology company, redefining care by providing the most accurate clinical devices for hospitals worldwide. Back in 2016 (long before Covid) we realised that contact thermometers are a huge source for infection, but at that time non-contacts weren’t fit for use in hospitals. To improve vital patient care worldwide with technology that safeguards patients and carers, we designed a non-contact infrared thermometer, accurate and robust enough for use in the hospital clinical wards. TRITEMP has been precision engineered to be used 40,000 times.

We currently sell into 21 countries through hospitals distribution partners. Our key markets are Ireland and UK, followed by Germany and Austria. We plan to scale the business fast through product diversification into connected devices and market diversification into the US this year with expressions of interest from GPOs and hospitals already.

Roisin must be tenacious, relentless, and driven, to be a successful entrepreneur, especially in STEM and MedTech, where she has had to prove her credibility in a male dominated environment and also a market sector that does not embrace change.

With her passion for science and years’ of experience, she is dedicated to leveraging technology to improve patient care and quality of life. This has not gone unrecognised as Roisin has recently joined the alumni of the pretegious Ernst Young, Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards as a Finalists.
