We are delighted to announce that we are joining forces with Moody’s for the second year running, to help us fulfil our mission of championing and celebrating the inspirational businesswomen of today.
Moody’s is a diverse team, dedicated to promoting clarity, knowledge and transparency in the global community. They help decision-makers to manage risk and identify opportunities by providing trusted insights and standards through their financial services.
This year Moody’s will again be sponsoring our ‘Role Model of the Year Award’ - and who better to do it! Moody’s managing director Annabel Schaafsma, is a role model to the next generation of businesswomen herself. She speaks about the importance of Great British Businesswomen, and how her experience of being a female leader has been in a recent interview with us. Read the full interview here.
Having female role models is imperative now more than ever, and our Role Model of the Year Award aims to shine a light on and celebrate those role models that have inspired the next generation of businesswomen - nominated by the people they’ve inspired.
With the lack of female representation in business now more evident than ever, role models are essential - and with Moody’s supporting this we are able to create even further excitement around the award.
Discussing the sponsorship Annabel Schaafsma, Managing Director at Moody’s said, “At Moody’s we champion gender equality through our insights, workplace programs and community partnerships. We believe that when women and girls succeed, everyone benefits. We are very proud to sponsor the Great British Businesswoman awards, which strongly reflect our values and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and celebrate women.”
Adam Stacey, portfolio director of the Great British Businesswomen Series said, “We’re so happy to have Moody’s joining us as a sponsor for 2022. Teaming up with businesses like Moody’s, who, like us, are passionate about celebrating diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace, allows us to create better opportunities for women in business. With Moody’s on our side, I believe the future of business women will be bright.”
Nominate your female business role model here for a chance to shine a spotlight on their work, and give them the recognition they deserve.
