The search for the first ever Great British Businesswoman has begun - we are now open for entries!

The Great British Businesswoman Awards is on a nationwide mission to celebrate and support women in business, champion their peers and advocates, and help foster the next generation of female business leaders.

We’ve been working behind the scenes to build an incredible judging panel for our inaugural year, and we have the support of some of the UK’s foremost business leaders, mentors and experts joining our mission, including;

  • Kathryn Jacob OBE, CEO of Pearl & Dean

Across 21 categories, we will celebrate the amazing women who are leading their organisations to new heights, champion the next generation of female leaders, and shine a light on the peers and advocates who are working to make the business landscape a level playing field for all.

However, far more than just an awards programme, the Great British Businesswoman Awards will be a year round community for women of all backgrounds and their peers to collaborate, support and encourage via a number of initiatives throughout 2021 and beyond.

Nicola Dowdall, Managing Director at the Great British Businesswoman Series, said: “2020 was a difficult year for us all, but especially so for women, with research showing the devastating impact the pandemic has had on gender equality in the workplace. Therefore, there has never been a more important time than now to support women in business, and help foster the next generation of female leaders.

“Far more than just an awards ceremony, the Great British Businesswoman Awards will become part of the bigger Series - including the Great British Businesswoman Forum - offering a safe and supportive community for like minded individuals to come together and support, encourage and champion the very best of business across the United Kingdom.
