Last week Vodafone launched its new digital marketing initiative, offering SoHo (small office/home office) business customers £200 to spend on social media advertising, to boost reach and engagement, in order to expand their customers.
The offer is available to existing and new UK Vodafone Business customers with 1-9 employees. You can be eligible for the offer if you purchase an unlimited mobile plan through Vodafone Business, and the funds will be available for 6 months. Once purchased, you will receive a £200 prepaid Mastercard given you access to spend the money on digital advertising on any of these platforms;
Within the new offer, customers can also benefit from access to the V-Hub digital business support website, where you can receive one to one business consultations with a digital advisor. They will also gain access to business.connected, a joint initiative offering online training courses, webinars and workshops from Vodafone, Enterprise Nation, Cisco and Samsung covering everything from managing an online business, digital marketing and cybersecurity – offering the best support for you and your businesses.
So, why are they offering this?
The new offer has been designed to address the many obstacles that small, and micro-businesses face when it comes to advertising and online presence. Such as lack of funding, lack of expertise, or not enough advice. While conducting research Vodafone found that 32% of small businesses thought online advertising was too expensive, whilst 36% rated their ability to use digital advertising effectively as ‘not good’. And with the current climate and the increased need for online presence and accessibility, Vodafone wanted to give back to their customer to ensure that have a headstart.
To help their business customers thrive offline Digital Marketing Boost also includes an exclusive 50% discount on a monthly ‘WeWork All Access’ membership for six months, which includes access to hot desks, meeting rooms and private offices all around the world.
“We’re delighted to launch this new offer which aims to resolve some of the key challenges Britain’s micro-businesses face when marketing their products and services online and also to deal with the changes to their ‘real life’ office requirements. By assisting with some of the costs and providing expert resources and guidance, Digital Marketing Boost provides small businesses with everything they’ll need to effectively manage and execute their own successful digital campaigns, which we hope will help stimulate growth and secure their long-term futures.” – Andrew Stevens – Head of UK Small and Medium Business, Vodafone
