The founder of Snaffling Pig, a unique range of pork-flavoured snacks, has been crowned Great British Entrepreneur of the Year for London & the South East region.
Nick Coleman launched Snaffling Pig in 2015 for a bet, after his business partner said he could turn his passion for flavoured pork crackling into a flourishing brand. Along with its range of pork scratchings and crackling, Snaffling Pig also produces nuts, sauces and alcohol.
It rounded off a successful night for Nick, who also named Food & Drink Entrepreneur of the Year earlier in the night.
Now in its seventh year, the Great British Entrepreneur Awards celebrate the hard work and inspiring stories of entrepreneurs, rather than the business’ balance sheet.

Elsewhere, the founders of renewable energy provider Bulb Energy were named Disruptors of the Year, and the Doctify founders picked up the Health & Beauty Entrepreneur of the Year award. The trio behind Mindful Chef won the Start-Up category, and social media star turned entrepreneur Grace Beverley was named Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
The winners of each category will now go to the National Final of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, which takes place in London in November.
