Bulb

It’s easy to start feeling more than a little overwhelmed with the bad news right now which is why we’re on a mission to highlight the good; the entrepreneurs & businesses who are doing amazing things, who have achieved so much (before and during the Covid-19 pandemic), who may have turned their skills to good and who deserve to be recognised.

Bulb

Hayden and Amit, the founders of Bulb, met five years ago when working in the old energy industry. They saw the same problems at all the big providers. Inefficiency. Poor service. Expensive tariffs. Dirty energy. ‘It didn’t have to be like this. The energy industry can change’ – and so they set up Bulb to lead that change.

Ofgem announced in February that the default energy price cap would be falling by £17 to £1,162, therefore all energy can adjust the unit prices of their gas and electricity to fit with this reduction. Bulb has confirmed that their average customer will see their bills fall from £1,000 to £944, putting it £218 below the level of the price cap.
