The Great British Entrepreneur Awards is delighted to announce Young Entrepreneurs of England as its newest partner.
Young Entrepreneurs of England is a global online marketplace supportive community of like-minded people designed to help young entrepreneurs and their businesses grow.
Now in its ninth year, the Great British Entrepreneur Awards acknowledges the hard work and inspiring stories of entrepreneurs and businesses in the United Kingdom. Central to its ethos is being more than just ‘an awards ceremony’ – it’s a sense of community, and a thriving ecosystem of support all year round that provide opportunities for winners and finalists to connect and showcase their business.
Young Entrepreneurs of England will support the Great British Entrepreneur Awards’ mission to champion young entrepreneurs and their entrepreneurial stories. Since 2013, the Great British Entrepreneur Awards has established a strong history of celebrating some of the countries leading young entrepreneurs including the likes of Steven Bartlett and Dominic McGregor of The Social Chain, Timo Schmidt of Gousto, Adam Ludwin and Dominic Joseph of Captify, and Grace Beverley of TALA.
Francesca James, founder of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Young Entrepreneurs of England to the Great British Entrepreneur Awards family. We have always highlighted the importance of the Young Entrepreneur of the Year category to our programme, and of young entrepreneurs to the economy.
“Over the past decade, we have seen an explosion of young people not only starting their own business – which is an achievement in itself – but making a success of them and making a big impact in their respective industries.
“In the past, youth has often been seen as a barrier to entrepreneurship, but we’re determined to celebrate these young entrepreneurs and prove that isn’t the case, along with the support of Young Entrepreneurs of England.”
Laura Yeo, founder of Young Entrepreneurs of England, said: “I am thrilled to be partnering with Great British Entrepreneur Awards and working together to uncover England’s incredibly talented young entrepreneurs.
“More and more young people are wanting to start and grow their businesses and we as a society should be doing all we can to ensure that hidden potential is fully realised, and that any external factors – be it network, experience, or funds, do not stop them.
“Our young entrepreneurs are the future leaders, and we need to be empowering them to take that first step in becoming an entrepreneur, giving them a place to learn, grow and create their businesses and work together towards making the future the best place it can be.”
