This award is given to those new companies that are less than one year old (launched after 28th Feb 2021).

This award is open to any start-up in the UK which is rurally-based (located outside towns with more than 10,000 resident population). 

Social Enterprise StartUp

A social enterprise is defined as one with an asset lock in its constitution, volunteer involvement at board level and restrictions on private distribution of dividends. The award is open to any social enterprise in the UK that has been operating for less than three years.

This award recognises those new firms that are delivering technology services that are harnessing different methods, systems and devices. 

Young Entrepreneur

This award is given to those aged 30 and under at the close of entries on 28th Feb 2022, who have established their own start-up in the previous three years.
