Founder, Great British Florist
My journey started in business when I set up Wiggly Wigglers on my kitchen table in 1990 with the aim of helping people to recycle their kitchen waste and make good compost. Since then and having married a farmer the business is a farm diversification which uses the resources, skills and crops on our Duchy farm in Hereford to help reduce kitchen waste and compost using Bokashi or Worms and also encourage garden birds by supplying our own farm seed mixes which offer quality and value.
It now specialises in Bringing Country Living to LIfe, - wherever you live.
Think Wildlife Gardening, Birdfood and Birdcare (much of it produced on our farm) Mealworms (proper live ones essential for feeding birds on the nest…) as well as British Flower Bouquets direct from our farm floristry for next day delivery.
The Great British Florist is also based on the farm. This simple solution for sending flowers throughout the UK brings in flowers from local flower farmers and from our own cutting patch and garden. Each day we put together bouquets and posies with what we have and send them out on a next day delivery. The advantages are
*hassle free flower ordering for the customer
* radically lower flower miles than most other florists and online companies
* NO flower waste
