The gender pay gap is a continued debate. According to a report in 2020, more than three out of four UK companies pay their male staff more than their female staff, and in nine out of 17 sectors in the economy, men earn 10 percent or more on average than women.
Part of this is due to the lack of confidence women face in negotiating salaries, with 22 percent of women versus 13 percent of men, having reported that a lack of confidence was a barrier to progression, according to a report from Robert Walters.
This panel will advise on how to negotiate compensation packages, what to ask for and how to negotiate other fringe benefits to make sure they are getting what they are worth.
