The show season has well and truly kicked off with a successful TFM&A event at Earls Court last week which is great news for everyone involved in the Digital Marketing Show.

There’s also a buzz in the air about everything that’s happening in East London and particularly our event in Excel in November.

Digital Marketing Show event manager Ray Clark said: “We selected Excel for this event for a number of reasons but the main reason is that we want to make sure we attract the maximum number of visitors and news from other events proves we’ve made the right choice.”

According to Exhibition News Educational show Bett attracted more than 35,000 visitors following its move across London to Excel. Figures for the show, which ran between 30 January and 2 February, suggest 2013 was the show’s most successful year to date, with an 18 per cent rise on last year's event.

Tech City in east London aims to make London “the digital capital of Europe” and the recent announcement that US Start Up Accelerator TechStars is coming to town is further endorsement that these ambitions will be met.

Cisco Live 2013 took place at Excel from January 28 — 1 February, 2013 and attracted 12% more delegates than last year.
