Rebecca is a multi award winning entrepreneur and a previous winner of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2020.
One of the two founders of Carousel Lights, Rebecca set up this renowned lighting company with her Brother. Experts in Neon, LED neon, Fairground Lights and Lightboxes, their UK-made illuminations can be seen in High Street windows at Christmas, at Live Music gigs, in Pubs, Restaurants and Hotels and in Celebrity homes. Their enviable client list is the envy of the industry and includes the likes of Rolls-Royce, Nike, Selfridges, Facebook, L’Oreal and InterContinental Hotels Group. Celebrity clients include Dua Lipa, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and some of the World’s most famous artists.
After studying Business at The University of Leeds, Rebecca was working at an Investment Bank when she was invited to a life changing party. Walking through the door she just knew that she belonged in this world of imagination, design and experience. Immediately switching career, she worked in-house for Citibank events team before joining celebrated agencies including Banks Sadler and Imagination, then setting up on her own as a freelance Event Director. She was lucky enough to produce and manage events all over the world, all of which came back to the same fundamentals, that people want to be wowed and that lighting design is key to creating that first and lasting impression.
