Ian Merricks

For 22 years Ian has been involved with the launch of numerous entrepreneurial businesses across a range of sectors, now focussing on tech investment and acceleration.

In 2011, Ian founded and now chairs The Accelerator Network, which has overseen the graduation of 1000+ high growth startups and scaleups, helping to prepare the companies to raise £350m of seed and Series A funding; offering the most efficient connection to early stage capital.

Ian also works as Managing Partner of White Horse Capital, which secures VC investment and M&A success for growth stage tech companies. He advises and sits on the investment committees or boards of a number of Seed & Venture Capital Funds with £50m committed, as well as on the advisory board for the UK Business Angel Association.

He is also on the board of Capital Enterprise and is an Ambassador for The Entrepreneurs Network and a Fellow of the British Computer Society, the RSA and the Centre for Entrepreneurs.
