David Walley

David has over 20 years’ experience as a business leader of some of the largest companies in the UK and European event services industry. His experience encompasses major sporting, music and cultural events, as well as exhibitions, experiential and themed attractions.

He has headed some of the most recognisable and established names in the world of events and been at the center of several of the most significant mergers and acquisitions to have shaped the event industry; forging major deals and working with banks, venture capitalists and private equity, to buy, restructure, build and sell businesses.

David is a strong believer in empowering his team and credits his military background for his clear strategic thinking and belief that people are at their best when they have a strong sense of belonging, community and identity.

He currently advises a number of companies in a Non Exec capacity helping them to identify a strategy for growth. He also supports a number of Private Equity organisations, advising them on relevant investments.
