Celia is a multi Award Winning entrepreneur and named Social Entrepreneur of the Year by Entrepreneurial Scotland in 2018. National Winner of the Great British Entrepreneur 2019 and The Saltair Inspirational Women.
Having been a business executive with extensive experience of leading social change in the UK, Australia, India, and Brazil, Celia retired early only to set up Buy One Give One Period Products Social Enterprise – Hey Girls in 2018. 20 months on and her trailblazing organisation’s plastic free and organic period products are stocked in Asda, Waitrose and the Coop supermarkets nationwide and delivered via public sector and university contracts and even popping up in the washrooms of corporates signing up to the Hey Girls Period Dignity campaign.
Trading activity has enabled Hey Girls to donate over 7 million period products to UK girls and women in need via a network of 200 donation partners.
