Reports from the BBC show that Lloyds Banking Group are to take back £2 million worth of bonuses from ten of their leading executives.

As well as four board members, those affected included former chief executive Eric Daniels.

Mr Daniels is expected to lose between 40% and 50% of a £1.45m bonus, or between £600,000 and £700,000.

This news comes just a few weeks after Royal Bank of Scotland boss, Stephen Hester, turned down his £1 million bonus on the back of fierce public criticism.
