Several reports suggest that Manchester United football club is considering moving its planned stock market flotation to the US from Singapore.

Both the New York Times and the Financial Times, as well as Reuters, carried the news, all citing unnamed sources confirming that the flotation will now take place in America.

It had previously been announced that United were planning a $1bn (£635m) share sale at the Singapore Stock Exchange.
