Please be mindful that advice given by the speakers was based on information and government advice issued at the time. Given the speed at which the outbreak is growing, advice is this webinar may be outdated.

The spread of the coronavirus around the world is already expected to have a significant impact on global economic growth. The International Monetary Fund has already downgraded its forecast for the year, which would indicate the slowest growth since the global financial crisis in 2008.

But it’s small businesses that are expected to bear the brunt of the impact. From supply chains and staff absence to insurance and cash flow issues, the UK’s smaller businesses are less resilient to situations like this.

With this in mind, our partners, the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, ran a free webinar with industry experts to explain what small businesses can do to mitigate the impact and threat of Coronavirus.

Speakers:

Matthew Wardner, managing director of Inverroy Crisis Management
Simon Cureton, chief executive of Funding Options
Tracey Hudson, executive director of The HR Dept
Evadney Campbell MBE, founder of Shiloh PR.
