With employee engagement and wellness finally taking centre stage in the business world, the Great British Workplace Wellbeing Awards recognises the people and organisations helping to make a true difference to the lives of our nation’s working population.

Launched in partnership by the founders of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards and industry experts, and Great British Entrepreneur alumni brand, Wellity Workplace Wellbeing, this programme is committed to shining a spotlight on those positively changing lives of the Great British workforce.

These awards have been launched to recognise and champion the incredible steps taken by many employers, service providers and individuals in response to our global wellbeing crisis.

Founder of the Great British Workplace Wellbeing Awards, Francesca James, said: “Employers are finally waking up to the realisation that the wellbeing of their staff is absolutely essential to business success.

“These awards are here to shine a spotlight on the organisations and individuals that are innovating and leading the way in how we think about the workforce and wellbeing, setting an example for the rest of the economy.”

The awards were the brainchild of Wellity founder and three-time GBEA finalist, Simon Scott-Nelson, who approached the GBEA team with the idea of launching a national awards to celebrate those committed to making a difference in the world of workplace wellbeing. He said: “Our mission as a business is to unite, educate and promote good wellbeing for all. The awards will help us to progress forwards on our quest to normalise the conversation around mental health.”

Sadie Restorick MSc., Wellity COO and international psychosocial risk consultant, added: “The global crisis has brought the subject of staff wellbeing to the top of every business agenda. After ten years in the industry we have never before seen so many organisations looking for innovative and impactful ways to support their staff. Now is the time to showcase those committed to best practice and inspire others to follow their lead.”
