After a long and arduous 18 months, the Great British Entrepreneur Awards are opening their doors to celebrate the brilliant and brightest entrepreneurs the UK has to offer.
It’s no secret the state of the events industry - on the brink of collapse. 66% of organisers and agencies say they cannot run their events sustainably and a mere 6% can see their events actually being profitable. With COVID ushering us all inside, what do you do when your entire industry revolves around public interaction and government funding drops to an all-time low?
The answer was to go digital, which The Great British Entrepreneur Awards did with their series The Lightbulb Sessions and various roundtables. These revolved around highly influential and successful figures in all realms of the business world discussing their sector. These kept the community inspired, informed, and motivated.
But it seems we don’t have to wait around any longer
Francesca James, founder of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, said: “We appreciate the patience of our community as we navigate a return to live, in-person award ceremonies for the first time since November 2019.
“Although we have embraced the challenge of adapting to the pandemic and virtual events, we are incredibly excited to meet our community face-to-face again and welcome new members for the first time.
“We have never brought this many regional finalists together in one place, and I look forward to stand side-by-side with our finalists, judges, partners and more for the biggest celebration of entrepreneurship in the UK.”
Taking place on Monday 22 November 2021 in Grosvenor House Hotel, London: 1,200 entrepreneurs, judges, mentors, investors and partners will celebrate the unrivalled creativity, ambition and resilience of entrepreneurship in person for the first time in eighteen months. The event will run from 6:30pm to 11:00pm.
