The 2020 Great British Entrepreneur Awards in partnership with Starling Bank will be open for entries on 2nd March 2020.
Making the announcement, the Great British Entrepreneur Awards said 2019 was a brilliant year as it ‘received 3,000 entries, traveled to three new regions, changed the style of the regional finals, shortlisted more than 700 entrepreneurs and crowned more than 100 regional winners and 14 national winners’.
It also announced that Just Eat UK founder, David Buttress, will return to the judging panel this year. A previous winner himself, David later became a member of the judging panel before taking a break to begin his new role as chairman of rugby union region the Dragons.
Among others, it also welcomes Celia Hodson to the judging panel for the first time. The Hey Girls founder was named Great British Entrepreneur of the Year at the National Final last year, and now brings bags of enthusiasm of dedication to supporting entrepreneurs as a judge.
As well as Celia and David, we’ve celebrated some incredible entrepreneurs over the past seven years including, Julie Deane of Cambridge Satchel Company, James Watt of BrewDog, Shaun Pulfrey of Tangle Teezer, Alan & Juliet Barratt of Grenade, and Steve Bartlett and Dominic McGregor of Social Chain.
