Great British Entrepreneur Awards has today (Monday) announced that it has renewed its partnership with Redrow for a third consecutive year.
In a statement, it said: “They might be used to building houses, but Redrow is helping us to build on our mission to celebrate and champion British entrepreneurs.”
Now in its seventh year, the Great British Entrepreneur Awards has celebrated some of the UK’s brightest entrepreneurs. Previous winners include: James Watt of BrewDog, Julie Deane OBE of The Cambridge Satchel Company, Shaun Pulfrey of Tangle Teezer, and Alan & Juliet Barratt of Grenade.
Founder of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, Francesca James said: “Redrow has been a keen supporter of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards over the past two years, and we’re delighted to be renewing that support for a third year in 2019.”
Dave Bexon, group sales and marketing director at Redrow, said: “Redrow is delighted to sponsor the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.
“Entrepreneurism is at the heart of Redrow’s culture with our founder, Steve Morgan starting the business in 1974 with a £5,000 loan from his father.
“Redrow now directly employs more than 2,200 people and many more through our suppliers and subcontractors.
“These awards recognise and reward entrepreneurs who are vital to the UK’s economy and the health and well being of every member of society.”
“We are proud to be associated with them.”
Following a hugely successful 2018 awards programme, applications for the 2019 awards will open in March. Regional finals will be held in Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Manchester, and London, and will celebrate entrepreneurship across 12 categories including Start-Up, Creative Industries, Innovation and Young.
