Women leaders bring an array of essential qualities and perspectives to the workplace. They are empathic listeners who value collaboration and teamwork, while also acting as experts at building relationships and encouraging others to achieve their maximum potential.

However, with the long-running imbalance of women leaders in the workplace, sexism and the gender pay gap, women have had to navigate certain situations to achieve equality with men in the workplace.

This panel will look at the challenges faced by women leaders and what advice they would give to those starting in leadership roles. The panel will explore leadership skills, such as how to be assertive without being “bossy”, managing mansplaining, and other hurdles that female leaders must confront.
