The first trailer for the film biopic of the late-Apple boss Steve Jobs has been released, giving the first glimpse of Michael Fassbender in the role.
The trailer shows the actor in Steve Jobs’ trademark glasses and black turtleneck as he recreates one of Apple’s product launches.
The film tells the story of Steve Jobs’ life, focusing on three of Apple’s product launches.
“The musicians play the instruments. I play the orchestra,” Michael Fassbender is heard as saying, as Jobs.
“I sat in a garage and invented the future… because artists lead, and hacks ask for a show of hands.”
Jobs was one of Apple’s co-founders in the 70s. He was ousted following a board coup in the 80s but was brought back and masterminded Apple’s surge with the launch of the iPod and iPhone.
Steve Jobs died of pancreatic cancer in 2011, with Tim Cook replacing him.
