This panel will focus on the critical importance of fostering and encouraging female leadership in the UK.

GBBW webinar (RS)

Despite progress being made in recent years, statistics reveal that the representation of women in senior leadership positions remains unacceptably low. For example, only 34% of FTSE 100 board members are women, and just 6% of CEOs in the FTSE 100 are female.

The talk will delve into the barriers and biases that women face in their careers, and explore how society can work together to break down these obstacles and provide equal opportunities for all.

The speaker will provide insights and best practices on how organisations can support the development and advancement of female talent, including mentorship programs, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and flexible working arrangements.

The objective of the talk is to raise awareness and inspire action to support the next generation of female leaders, with the aim of creating a more gender-balanced and inclusive workplace culture.

By working together, we can help to ensure that women are given the support they need to reach their full potential and make a lasting impact in their careers and communities.
