Giacomo Mariotti is the founder and CEO of Alpha-i. Particle physicist by training, he obtained a Master’s in quantitative finance and started his career in risk management at RWE Npower, where he quickly became head quant of the hedging desk. In 2016 he was selected by Europe’s best deep-tech startup accelerator Entrepreneur First, where he founded Alpha-i, a fast growing technology company based in London. Alpha-i developed a cloud-based predictive platform that helps organisations make accurate prediction using proprietary cutting edge artificial intelligence algorithms. CEO & Founder, Enter The Arena
Julia Elliott Brown, CEO and Founder of Enter The Arena, is the UK’s leading equity fundraising expert and specialist coach, working exclusively with women entrepreneurs.
As a serial entrepreneur, Julia has successfully raised millions of pounds in equity finance for business growth from angels, VCs and crowdfunding, both for her own business, and has supported dozens of her amazing female founder clients in doing the same.
With 20+ years commercial experience in high-growth start-ups, Julia’s mission and passion is to bring her wealth of expertise to support women entrepreneurs on their own journeys to successful equity fundraising.

Together with a friend from high school designed and manufactured WingLights – Direction Indicators for Bicycles, and founded CYCL, a bicycle accessories brand. After winning a place in the UKTI Sirius Programme, Oxygen Accelerator, Kings20 Accelerator and several prizes (between others Kings college Design Award and Santander Enterprise Competition) took part in BBC Dragons’ Den where after being praised by all the Dragons secured an investment from Nick Jenkins – moonpig.co.uk founder now millionaire. CYCL is now growing year on year at a 100% rate.
In parallel he is currently working, still on stealth mode, on an electric scooter sharing scheme for London and on a new technology for recharging Electric Vehicles through lamp post, with the aim to reduce 10- fold the cost of placing a new charge point.
CEO & Founder, MMC
Meir Malinsky has 20 years of international management and entrepreneurial experience initially working in large multinational companies and switching to start-up environments during the past decade. Through his consultancy company MMC he was involved in the creation of several pioneering start-ups in the entertainment and education arenas.
He broke new ground leading a French start-up called MIST Technologies with a revolutionary audio enhancing system for feature films and very recently was involved with Harness UK, an ed-tech start-up with a uniquely interactive lesson delivery tool used by teachers and students in 47 countries.
He speaks 7 languages and loves cars (having raced cars in the past) and travel (to constantly discover (and learn from) new cultures).
Founder – WeTrack
After working in operations and software development roles at an international hedge fund, Peter took a job as a readiness manager at London 2012 (LOCOG). It was an interesting first job in the events world! Infuriated by an overreliance on Excel, MS Project and email, Peter decided to create WeTrack. WeTrack is a project management and readiness system designed for large events and has clients including Expo 2020, Farnborough Air Show, Cricket World Cup 2019, Asccot and Cheltenham Festival.
Director, Red Box Mobile
Rory has over 20 years of experience at the commercial coalface of mobile and advertising. Having worked at This is Global, BBC and Vodafone in a sales capacity, Rory’s understanding of technology has been directly linked with the delivery of new commercial formats, ranging from the first popup banner ads at beeb.com to a pizza being bought on a mobile phone and charging your phone bill.
Rory founded Redbox Mobile, a full-service ASO agency with over 30 employees and offices in London and New York, in 2013. Redbox Mobile delivers every aspect of ASO, from app preview video, metadata and scripting to icon/screenshot design, ratings and reviews, link building and A/B testing.
Rory has a Degree in Business and Marketing from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland.

Roger is Chairman of: MSQ Partners (marketing communications); Oxford Metrics (Software) and YouGov (data analytics). Non-Executive Director Uber UK (transport) and Chrysalis Vision (TV drama).
He was CEO of More Group plc and Clear Channel International. He was Chairman of Johnston Press, Future Publishing, Mobile Streams and Shakespeare’s Globe. He was Deputy Chairman of Clear Media (China), iTouch and Jazz FM; a founding Director of Internet Indirect plc and a director of Aegis, New Media Spark and WCRS. He started his career as Assistant to Charles and Maurice Saatchi then was a broadcaster with BBC and ITV and a consultant at McKinsey& Co. He was an owner of the radio stations LBC and Jazz FM.
Roger was educated at the universities of Oxford (Jesus College) and Bristol; and is a Visiting Fellow of Oxford University. He was awarded a CBE for services to media. He is the author of five books including Ascent of Media and Enterprise: The Leadership Role.”

Founder of production company Big Earth, event producer, creative director and all-round entrepreneur, Russ Malkin has created content around some of the World’s leading events and record-breaking challenges. Having produced adventure travel documentaries featuring some of the biggest celebrities; Long Way Down and long Way Round with Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman, David Beckham For The Love Of The Game and Prince Harry In Africa, Russ thrives on the challenge of the ‘impossible’. His motto is enjoy the planet and do some good at the same time.

Tom is a Co-Founder of TalentPool, the Talent Matching Platform. He previously founded and sold Fred’s Bicycles and before that worked in financial services.
CEO – PushFor
Mike has over 30 years’ experience in the software industry. Highlights include working for Steve Jobs at Next Software in the pioneering days of the internet; founding Entranet the ‘creators of online commerce’, founding edge IPK to create the world’s first User Experience Platform. edge IPK was acquired by Temenos in October 2012. As part of the executive management team, Mike spearheaded the digital channels strategy, resulting in the fastest growing licence revenues for Temenos across, EMEA, APAC and North America. Mike is now CEO at Pushfor with a vision to transform the way companies protect and share content.
CBO & Founder, Eve Sleep Ltd
Co founder of eve and Chief Brand Officer, Kuba was previously Head of Sports Marketing at Channel 4 running the multi-award winning Superhuman Paralympics campaign, and also headed up its in-house creative agency – 4 Creative. He previously worked in leading advertising agencies for McCann Erickson, Fallon and JWT among others. Kuba is also an award-winning international photographer.

Francesca is the co-founder of Fresh Business Thinking, and online resource for business owners, directors, and entrepreneurs.

Nick assists a broad range of clients in structuring their long-term financial plans and discretionary portfolios. He works closely with accountancy, tax and financial planning professionals to ensure that all elements of a clients’ wealth (often including their businesses) are considered. Nick’s client base is broad and includes entrepreneurs, angel investors, professional sportsmen, personal injury settlements and charities.
Nick has a particular focus on supporting business owners in structuring their personal financial affairs whilst they grow and eventually exit their businesses.

Sunil has 13 years of advising clients across all sectors in relation to Indirect Tax matters particularly UK and EU VAT.
Sunil joined Smith & Williamson earlier this year after previously working for 3 of the Big 4 accountancy firms and also managing the global VAT affairs of a FTSE 100 banking group.
For 6 years of his career, Sunil focussed on advising clients on VAT matters specifically relating to Mergers & Acquisitions.

Claire recently joined the Business Tax team at Smith & Williamson. Her current role involves working with entrepreneurs and growth businesses within the Tech and Media sector. Prior to S&W, Claire led the entrepreneurs team at Metro Private Bank. For three years, Claire helped grow and establish the private banking division, which had a client focused and straightforward approach to banking. Claire worked alongside Vernon Hill, the founder of Metro Bank, and a number of Metro’s private investors to build awareness of the Private Bank, as well as looking after a number of extremely successful and influential individuals. Claire started her career at Caerus Capital which offered expert and dynamic financial planning to City based professionals.
