The new HTC Incredible smartphone is meant to be launched later this month on the Verizon network in the US.

The new gadget will operate using the Android 2.1 and HTC’s Sense UI. The phone will be powered by the relatively unknown Snapdragon processor and will come with an 8mega pixel camera. The HTC Incredible will have a large 3.7-inch screen, similar to the Nexus One, the Droid and the Omnia HD. The display will be a OLED, multi-touch captive screen and have 800×480 resolutions.

The phone will be Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n compatible for high speed internet access, have 8GB of storage (which can be increased using a microSD card) and will support Flash Lite 4.0 and Adobe technology. This will enable it to play a lot of internet videos requiring this technology. A feature which many smart phones including Apple’s iPhone do not have.

As the mobile will be operating using the Android operating system, it will most likely come pre-loaded with Google Apps such as GoogleMaps, YouTube, Gmail, etc.

So far, no release date has been announced for the UK.
